An Ivorian certificate under preparation, recognised approvals from day one
Akwaba Aviation Services is preparing its Air Operator Certificate with ANAC Côte d'Ivoire. In the meantime, operations rely on the approvals of Chalair Aviation, Aerosotravia and Aerosotravia Industrie.

An Air Operator Certificate under preparation
Akwaba Aviation Services is preparing its own Air Operator Certificate with ANAC Côte d'Ivoire. The aim is to carry in its own name, under Ivorian authority, an activity conducted today under the approvals set out below.

Aerosotravia
- Maintenance — Part-145 Held by Aerosotravia Industrie. FR.145.0734
- Airworthiness — CAMO Held by Aerosotravia. FR.CAMO.0074
- Aerial work — SPO Specialised operations declared by Aerosotravia. A declarative regime, with no approval number.
These approvals are held by Chalair Aviation, by Aerosotravia and by Aerosotravia Industrie. Akwaba Aviation Services relies on them under its agreements with each of these companies.

The four components of ICAO Annex 19
- Policy and objectives A written commitment from management, responsibilities assigned by name, objectives framed so they can be verified.
- Risk management Identification of the hazards specific to each route, assessment, and mitigation settled before the first flight on that route.
- Safety assurance Monitoring of indicators, internal reporting of occurrences, internal audits and management reviews.
- Safety promotion Training, communication, and a just reporting culture — without which nothing is ever reported.
Safety audit
Chalair Aviation is on the IOSA registry
IOSA — the IATA Operational Safety Audit — is the audit programme created by IATA to assess an airline's management and operational control systems: organisation and management, flight operations, operational control, maintenance, cabin operations, ground handling, cargo and security.
The audit is carried out by an accredited organisation and registration is renewed every two years. It is a condition of IATA membership, and many clients require it of their carriers. The registry is public: a client can verify the validity of a registration directly.
Chalair Aviation, partner of Akwaba Aviation Services, appears on it. This registration is Chalair Aviation's.
