Akwaba Aviation Services is a company incorporated under Ivorian law. It answers a precise demand from mining and energy operators in West Africa: a dependable way of reaching sites that scheduled services do not serve.
The answer chosen is not to improvise one more airline. It is to bring to Côte d'Ivoire proven operating methods, carried by teams that practise them daily, and to place them at the service of industrial operators whose activity leaves no room for approximation.

Where required, Akwaba Aviation Services draws on the operational and technical capabilities of Chalair Aviation, a French airline with long experience of demanding regional routes.
This partnership gives access to a seasoned operating organisation, to flight crews trained on the aircraft types in use, and to a maintenance culture held to international standards. For a client, it means dealing with an Ivorian counterpart without conceding anything on the level of rigour.

Beechcraft King Air 200
A pressurised twin-turboprop from the same family, sized for small groups, on-demand missions and medical evacuation. It reaches strips shorter still than those open to the 1900D.
A presence, not a stopover
Establishing the company in Côte d'Ivoire is not an administrative formality. It commits the recruitment and training of Ivorian staff — flight crew, maintenance, ground operations — and the building of skills on the ground.
Local employment targets are set contract by contract, with the clients concerned.
